Jana insisted on being "Dorthy" from the Wizard of Oz... and no store bought costume would do. So, as any great mother would (haha), I figured out how to make the darn costume! After messing up and having to start over about 3 times, the costume was finally finished!
What a cute Dorthy! She really hammed it up all Halloween weekend! She wanted our whole "team" (aka family...) to be part of the Wizard of Oz, too. So, we tried to comply with her wishes. I was the Wicked Witch of the West... complete with a green face! And Matt was kind of the Cowardly Lion. He has an original Chewbacca costume, and he used that. We went to a great costume party that had a face painter and painted his face to match the cowardly lion.
